Early Times Report

Jammu, July 21: In a development that has created ripples across the neighboring country, the people of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir or POK have revolted against the establishment demanding freedom from the rogue nation.
A video accessed by the Early Times shows that the people of Muzaffarabad recently revolted against the Pakistani government and its Army in full public gaze.
During the roadside protests on the main highway, hundreds of people of POK shouted slogans like Pakistani Army go back.
Other slogans like “Pakistani forces go back go back", "We want freedom" and "Stop killings in Kashmir " rented the air as the protesters blocked the traffic on the middle of the road asking the Pakistani Army to go back.
The sources said the protests continued for hours taking the Pakistani government by surprise that the POK people are fed up of the tyrant regime.
Sources said despite repeated appeals the Pakistani Army couldn’t pacify the protesters who kept shouting slogans.
The wave of anti Pakistan protests in Muzaffarabad is being attributed to the bold decisions taken by the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 5, 2019 when the so called special status of Jammu and Kashmir was abrogated.
Since then Kashmir has been witnessing a new era of peace and prosperity with tourism reviving for a major boom. In the last six months alone, over one crore tourists have visited Kashmir for a major economic boost to the region otherwise marred by terrorism over thirty years.
After the abrogation of the so called special status, however, the people of Kashmir have been able to express their love for India whereas the shops of separatists have been shut.
The people of Kashmir have been working shoulder to shoulder with the Indian Army in particular for the revival of peace and prosperity to its fullest. The Army has been lending a helping hand even to give a boost to the tourism sector.
While the incidents of stone pelting have nosedived, the militancy related incidents are also down by around fifty percent.
As per the observers “the winds of change are blowing beyond Kashmir as even the neighboring POK wants merger with its roots in India.” The POK has already been declared as Indian territory under illegal occupation of Pakistan.
The Modi government has often spoken about getting back POK from the clutches of Pakistan.
