JK reports 685 fresh positive cases, 453551 recovered | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, July 28: The Government today informed that 685 fresh positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19) have been reported today; 262 from Jammu division and 423 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases to 462633. Also, 01 COVID death has been reported from Kashmir division. Moreover, 443 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 231 from Jammu division and 212from Kashmir division. According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 462633positive cases, 4316are Active Positive (1954in Jammu Division and 2362in Kashmir Division), 453551have recovered and 4766 have died; 2338 in Jammu division and 2428 in Kashmir division. The Bulletin further said that out of 26086674 test results available, 462633samples have tested positive and 25624042 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 14,872COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours. Till date 6696177 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 117persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 4316in isolation and 266in home surveillance. Besides, 6686712 persons have completed their surveillance period. Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases for today, the Bulletin informs that Jammu reported 147cases, Srinagar reported 212 cases, Udhampur reported 21 cases, Baramulla reported96 cases, Samba reported 10 cases, Kathua reported 09 cases, Rajouri and Bandipora reported 17 cases, Doda reported 14 cases, Pulwama reported 02cases,Budgam reported 52cases,Anantnag reported 10 cases, Kishtwar reported 18 cases, Poonch reported 13 cases, Kulgam and Ganderbal reported 06 cases each, Kupwara reported 22cases, Ramban reported 12 cases, Reasi reported 01 case while as Shopian district reported no fresh case for today. The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K UT Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24x7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads. It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075. Further the bulletin also informs the public that for any kind of COVID-19 query, logon to www.covidrelief.jk.gov.in
