Pak exposed yet again
7/31/2022 10:53:46 PM

Torch for the 44th Chess Olympiad passing through Jammu and Kashmir once again drove home a point that abrogation of Article 370 has settled all the disputes once in for all. But it didn’t go well with Pakistan, it refused to take part in the event at the eleventh hour by raising the “same old and weird tale of Kashmir issue.”
Pakistan talking about Kashmir has once again exposed the neighbouring country before the international community. There is a consensus in the entire world that Pakistan has been breeding terrorism in its backyard for the past three decades and is responsible for fomenting trouble in Jammu and Kashmir.
Interestingly the torch relay passed through Srinagar on June 21, 2022 and the Chess Olympiad started on July 28.
Pakistan pulled out from the event at the eleventh hour, surprising one and all. Pakistan’s sudden decision to politicize the prestigious international sporting event once again proved beyond doubt that the neighbouring country is not interested in peace and wants to keep all the conflicts alive.
Reacting sharply to Pakistan’s decision not to participate in the event, the Ministry of External Affairs’ (MEA) spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said it was surprising that Pakistan had suddenly taken the decision not to participate in the event. “It is highly unfortunate that Pakistan has politicised the prestigious international event by making such statements and withdrawing its participation after its team has already reached India.”
The MEA asserted that the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh “have been, are and will remain an integral part of India. After August 5, 2019, Pakistan has been trying its best to garner support to corner India but none of the countries have responded by telling Pakistan that J&K is an internal matter of India and no one can interfere in it.
During the past three years, J&K has been put on the path of peace, prosperity and development and the ones who used to act as the agents of Pakistan in Kashmir have been cut to size. Pakistan has been making noise, trying to push terrorists into J&K and is resorting to one or other tactic but all its attempts are being thwarted. The actions it is resorting to has made it clear to the world that Pakistan has been behind all the trouble in J&K. However, the regime led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has settled all the issues by following the policy of zero tolerance towards terrorism.
