| ADGP Armed decorates newly promoted officials with ranks | | |  Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Aug 1: S.J.M Gillani-IPS Addl. Director General of Police Armed J&K decorated Riyaz Ahmad and Khurshid Ahmad of Armed Police Headquarters with ranks on their promotion as HC. An impressive pipping ceremony was held today at Armed Police Headquarters J&K Srinagar to decorate these officials. The ADGP congratulated the newly promoted HCs and wished them successful professional career. Syed Sajad Hussain-DySP(S) Pvt. Secy. to ADGP Armed J&K & Ab. Rashid PA to ADGP Armed J&K were also present on the occasion.
It is pertinent to mention here that during the month of July, 2022 Armed Police Headquarters J&K has completed the promotion process of 635 Police personnel of J&K Armed Police, which include, promotion of 10 ASIs as SI, 185 HCs as ASI and 440 SgCts as HC. While congratulating the newly promoted HCs the ADGP said the promotion process of more than 600 Constables to the rank of SgCts is under consideration and by the mid of this month that will also be finalized. |
