JK reports 739 fresh positive cases, 456930 recovered | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Aug 3:The Government today informed that 739 fresh positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19)have been reported today; 196 from Jammu division and 543 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases to 466643. Moreover, 645 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 220 fromJammu division and 425from Kashmir division. According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 466643positive cases, 4940are Active Positive (1639in Jammu Division and 3301in Kashmir Division), 456930 have recovered and 4772have died; 2343 in Jammu division and 2429in Kashmir division. The Bulletin further said that out of 26168950 test results available, 466643samples have tested positive and 25702307 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 15,288COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours. Till date 6698262 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 134persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 4940in isolation and 289in home surveillance. Besides, 6688126 persons have completed their surveillance period. Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases for today, the Bulletin informs that in Kashmir division, Srinagar reported 235 cases, Baramulla reported 165 cases, Budgam 57 cases, Pulwama reported 03cases, Kupwara reported28 cases, Anantnag reported21 cases, Bandipora reported 16 cases, Ganderbal reported 05 cases, Kulgam reported 11 cases while as Shopian reported 02 fresh cases for today. Similarly in Jammu division, Jammu reported 129 cases, Udhampur 11, Rajouri 13, Doda 06, Kathua 06, Samba 09, Kishtwar 12, Poonch 04, Ramban 06 and Reasi no cases. The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K UT Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24x7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads. |
