Kathua , Aug 5: A pipping ceremony was organized at IRP 19th Battalion Headquarters Kathua at which SSP Benam Tosh Commandant flanked by other officers adhered ranks to the newly promoted officers of the Battalion and greeted them with high honour amid great applause . 20 officials of IRP 19th Battalion have been recently elevated to the next higher ranks : 04 officials have been promoted to the non-gazzetted rank of Assistant Sub-Inspector ( ASI ) , whereas 16 officials have been promoted to the rank of Head Constable ( Havaldar) . The promoted officials are Bishan Singh,Dharam Paul, Janak Raj,Balbir Singh, Ajeet Singh, Mushatq Ahmad, Nazir Ahmad, Anjeet Singh, Pawan Singh,Gh Mohi-Ud-Din, Mohinder Kumar, Zahoor Ahmad, Satish Kumar, Mohd.Yaqoob, Mushtaq Ahmad,Sanjay Singh,Liyaqat Ali,Govind Singh,Rakesh Kumar and Tika Khan. SSP Benam Tosh after pinning well-deserved ranks to the promoted officials congratulated them and their families and wished them all the best for future responsibilities. CO Benam Tosh,on the occasion, said that ranks and responsibilities go hand- in -hand and advised the officers to maintain dignity of the ranks worn by them on uniform and perform supervisory role with impartiality wheresoever posted . Benam Tosh further said that the officers who are having inculcated qualities of honesty, dedication and responsibility can exercise best command and control. “ASI and Havaldar ranks can be achieved only after rendering nearly 35 and 25 years of unblemished service respectively and those who get these ranks after overcoming toughest challenges really deserve respect and appreciations “ , Benam Tosh added. |
