Charri Yatra, Moharram procession completes with peace, calm

POONCH, Aug 9: Under the traditional communal harmony, Charri Mubarak yatra and Moharam possession completed with peace and calm in Mandi tehsil of district Poonch here today.
Reportedly, both the festivals were naturally scheduled at same day and time. Swami ji and Mandi people gets together and unraveled all the matters at their own with mutual understanding.
It is pertinent to mention that, the time of Charri Mubarak yatra and Moharram possession was same and after mutual discussion, the Moharram possession was delayed from 1:30 to 2:30 PM and yatra was completed before 2:30 PM. Mandi people have shown their greatness, all the representatives of religion, trade Unions, NGOs, social and political organizations have expressed their humanity and decided to arrange all the matter at their own, swami Ji further said.
BDC chairman Shamim Ahmed Ganai, Shia youth Mandi, beopar Mandal Mandi have said that, yatra was completed with peace and communal harmony, and there was no law and order problem during Charri Yatra and Moharram possession. They have thanked to the management of Charri Mubarak yatra and appreciated arrangements made by VHP, Bajrangdal and Jammu and Kashmir Shrine board, they especially congratulated swami ji for such arrangements. Congress leader Taj Mir, Insaaf Movement leader Javid Iqbal Reshi into the matter have said that all the arrangements made by district administration, Indian army were highly appreciable. They said, Jammu and Kashmir police under the overall supervision of DIG Rajouri-Poonch range Dr. Haseeb Mughal did their best to maintain peace in the region. They said, the credit of peace and communal harmony goes to DC Poonch, DIG, SSP Poonch, DySP headquarters, traffic Police, all agencies and especially all concern SHOs and chowki officers who perform their duty diligently.
BJP state president Ravindar Raina, former MLC Vibode Gupta, Nishu Gupta, Surya Partap, Sameer Bakshi also thanked Mandi people and said, Poonch people have proved their historical brotherhood and made communal harmony.
Pray for the peacekeeping of the world was also performed during both the religious programs.
