Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 13: Shri Krishananad Public High School Sarwal, Jammu celebrated "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav "the 75th year of independence today with great patriotic fervor and zeal. Chander Mohan Gupta, mayor JMC distributed 200 Triangas among the students. Mayor JMC alongwith Dinesh Gupta Councilor of ward no.18, Onkar Singh, Subash Gupta, Dr. Vikrant, the management staff and students of the school and other prominent citizens of the locality flagged off the Trianga rally. Speaking on the occasion, mayor told that every citizens of Jammu irrespective of any caste, creed or religion including children are contributing their best efforts in celebrating "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav" with great enthusiasm and interest by way of organizing cycle/motorcycle rallies, hoisting of national flags on roof top their houses, offices, school, buildings or their respective stations as well as while participating in painting or singing competitions. The rally culminated by singing the National Anthem and distribution of sweets among the students and participants which was followed by a vote of thanks by Sh Om Parkash Gupta, Founder and Managing committee. |
