BJP felicitates unsung heros of Praja Parishad, Jansangh

JAMMU, Aug 13: Bharatiya Janata Party Jammu District led by its President Vinay Gupta with BJP Senior leaders felicitated the veteran activists of the party at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. J&K BJP General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul, Former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta, former Minister Priya Sethi, Chief spokesperson Sunil Sethi and other senior party leaders felicitated Praja Parishad, Jansangh unsung heroes and distributed Tiranga (National flag) on the occasion. The program was organized by Jammu District under the leadership of BJP District President Jammu Vinay Gupta, on the ambitious "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign into a nationalistic exercise at the grass-root level. Ashok Koul felicitated the veteran party activists and uttered about their significant role in enhancing the organization. He explained that the whole Nation is celebrating the "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava" on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Ashok Koul said that the PM, this year, emphasized the need to remember every unsung hero of the "Azadi" who was excluded from the pages of history for better-known reasons. He said that the party can never forget the sacrifices of the real warriors, who took the party to the top. Taking the mission further, J&K BJP is also felicitating the prominent population and Praja Parishad, Jansangh for their dedicated and selfless acts in the service of society and the Nation.
Kavinder Gupta said that PM Modi has urged the people to strengthen the Har Ghar Tiranga movement. The PM launched the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign on July 22, 2022, to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and hoist it to mark the 75th year of India's independence. The idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in the spirit of Jan Bhagidari.
Vinay emphasized that the initiative of "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" was launched by PM Modi on March 12, 2021, to celebrate and commemorate 75 glorious years of Independence of India. Since its launch, the initiative has successfully showcased the magnificence of Indian culture all across the globe and the government of India has taken various steps to ensure the supply of flags across India. Flags are available in all Post Offices in the country. He said the Indian National Flag has also been registered on the GeM portal, Vinay added. He said that party president J P Nadda will also inaugurate an exhibition here on Saturday to mark the 'Partition Horrors Remembrance Day', which falls on August 14. It will highlight the atrocities people faced during the partition violence, Vinay added.
Sunil Sethi and Priya Sethi said the government's 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign has seen unprecedented response across the country and claimed the target of having 20 crore households hoist or display the national flag on independence day will definitely be reached top.
Jammu District Secretary Org Inderjit Sharma, District General Secretaries Ankush Gupta and Naresh Sharma, Bharat Bushan Satwari Mandal President, Nayan Gupta Mandal President were present on the occasion.
