DODA, Aug 24: Department of Dentistry GMC, conducted a seminar on Contemporary Cranio Maxillofacial Surgery in India where Prof. Noor Ali, Principal GMC Doda was the chief Guest and Prof. Tariq Parvez Azad founder principal was the guest of honor on this occasion.
The lecture was presented by Prof. M Shakeel, Head of Maxillofacial Surgery, SKIMS Bemina MC, Srinagar. Prof. Shakeel gave a detailed presentation on cleft lip and cleft palate deformities and their treatment planning. A screening camp was also conducted for identification of cleft lip and cleft palate patients to be referred to Prof. Shakeel for their free treatment. This camp was conducted in association with Department of Dentistry GMC Doda and DEIC. The screening camp and seminar was assisted by Dr GP Singh, Dr Dheeraj Sharma, Dr Atoofa Dr Moin Shapoo, Dr Jamsheed Attu and Suhail Tanveer Kichloo DEIC manager.
Prof. Yunis Saleem Bhat, HOD, Deptt of Dentistry, GMC Doda thanked Prof Shakeel for his detailed presentation and subsequent free treatment of cleft lip and cleft palate patients.
On this occasion Medical Superintendent , CAO of GMC Doda, CMO of Doda and HOD of all departments and faculties of GMC Doda and Dental Surgeons of District Doda were present. |
