Internet or no internet
8/24/2022 10:46:41 PM
A survey carried out by Nord, a Virtual Private Network (VPN), has revealed that 33 per cent people want to delete their profiles from the internet as they fear that there is a threat to their privacy.
According to the figures, around 63% of the global population is currently online. The survey claimed that 45 per cent respondents said there is no reason for their name to be on the internet, while 42 per cent said they feel used because companies collect their data and use it to their advantage. While 34 per cent of the people surveyed said they feel that someone will eventually hack their devices and 31 per cent said that they do not trust the Internet.
The survey carried out by the private VPN has brought shocking figures to fore as more than 3 out of 10 people want to say goodbye to the virtual world. The number of people who want to leave the internet could be higher but the point here is whether the ones who want to quit the virtual world can do it or not. And the answer seems very obvious that the internet has become an integral part of our lives and the ones who have become used to it cannot call it quits.
Most of the people across the globe are in one or another way dependent on the internet. They can’t even think about living a life without the internet. There is no doubt about the fact that the companies use the data of the internet users for their own benefits but to use the services or products offered by the online companies depends upon the internet user. These companies can clutter the inboxes but they cannot force anyone to opt for their services.
How to use the internet depends upon the user and not the ones who keep on feeding him with one thing or the other every time. Many people are fed up with the virtual world but many are taking advantage of it to the best possible extent. If used properly the internet is a blessing if misused it can become an addiction and a nuisance. So the choice is yours whether you want to say goodbye to the virtual world or stay back.
