Pr Secy ARIT inspects dev works at Kalakote

RAJOURI, Aug 28: Principal Secretary, ARI & Training (ARIT) Department, Ashok Kumar Parmar today visited Kalakote sub-division of district and inspected various ongoing developmental works. DDC Rajouri, Vikas Kundal; ADC Kalakote, Krishnan Lal; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; SE Hydraulics, JP Singh; XEn PWD Nowshera, Vikram Singh; XEn Jal Shakti Nowshera, Bashir Ahmed; XEn PDD Rajouri, Mohammad Hasan; XEn PMGSY Rajouri, Subash Chander and other concerned officers also accompanied the Principal Secretary during the visit. Inspecting the progress of works on Amrit Sarovar at Kothian-B, the Principal Secretary asked the concerned officers from the RDD to expedite the progress and complete the Sarovar in time bound manner. While interacting with officers during the visit, the Principal Secretary impressed upon the officers to work with zeal and dedication and expedite the work on the ongoing projects to achieve the set targets well before the set deadlines. He also asked them to work in tandem to resolve the issues and bottlenecks hampering the developmental works so that the same can be addressed at the earliest to avoid delay in completion. The Principal Secretary also stressed upon the officers to closely monitor ongoing works to ensure quality while executing work on developmental projects. He also made it clear that no laxity shall be entertained in the quality of the projects being executed. Regarding augmentation of 63 KVA to 100 KVA substation, it was apprised that the project was approved at an estimated cost of Rs 3.8 crores under PMDP-R and the substation has three feeders and it will feed the public of Sadda, Som and Tatapani.
