Jammu, Aug 31: Aiming at to ensure availability of fresh,Safe & qaulity fruite juices to the Consumers & to the public ,the Department of Food safety DFCO Jammu Division has started to thrive for an increase in inspections & samplings at the outlets of Fruits juices including packed & fresh vis - a -vis implementing the guidelines enumerated under FSSA inclusive of Hygienic practices, Cleanliness, Sanitation,Safe serving areas ,usage of Safe Drinking, serving Utensils ,standard quality ice for chilling purposes in case demanded by the Customers. To prevent the perceptions of Unhygienic conditions, threat of apprehension of fungal growth & related issues regarding packing & labelling norms under the Act & to implore the knowledge about temperature maintenance of the packed juice & adaptation of personal Hygiene of the fruit juice dealers ,the teams of Enforcement Officers of Food Safety DFCO jammu have been complying the directions & vigil about to toil the goal of providing fresh & safe juices to the public in General.
Emphasizing over the compliances the teams are holding awareness to the FBO'S as to how to prepare the fresh juices & how to store the packed juices under the provisions of the FSS Act.Pertinently,the teams are ensuring the successful implemention of the Act ,in case of repeated negligence the defaulters will be called to account .During today's compaign 05 samples lifted under the Act and 03 FBO'S Challaned under insanitary conditions ,20 inspections conducted ,Chasing the menace & taking corrective measures the teams are on job with holistic approach.
