GLDM degree college Hiranagar celebrated Teacher’s day 2022

Jammu, Sept 5: To commemorate the birth anniversary of former president of India Dr.Sarvpali Radhakrishnan, G.L.D.M. Degree College Hiranagar celebrated Teachers day on 5th September 2022 to thank its Teaching faculty for their commitment towards teaching. The teachers day was organised with incredible Gusto and Zeal by the student’s of G.L.D.M. Degree College. The programme commenced with the lightning of traditional lamp and floral tribute to the great educationist Dr.Sarvpali Radhakrishnan, by principal of the college Dr. Pragya Khanna, the Chief Guest on the occasion along with all the faculty members. Teachers play a major role in making their students responsible citizen of tomorrow and good human beings. Hence to express their gratitude a wide range of activities were organised on this occasion. There was a solo performance of Sparsh of B.A. Sem.4th. Inderjeet Kumar one of the ex-student of G.L.D.M. Degree college expressed his gratitude and respect to the teachers for their unconditional love and support. Prof.Rakesh Kumar (HOD Hindi Department) also expressed his views on the occasion and highlighted the role of a teacher in society and Nation building.
All the teachers enjoyed and appreciated the programme. In the end all the teachers were facilitated with a Certificate of Appreciation. Principal of the College, Dr. Pragya khanna in her presidential address appreciated the students for organising the programme well. A webinar was also organized under the title “VICHAR” in which Dr. Balwant Thakur was the Resource person. He expressed his thoughts regarding the importance of Theatre.The whole Programme was organized under the able guidance of Dr. Pragya Khanna worthy Principal of the College.
