Jammu, Sept 5: S.D Tara Puri Public High School, Gandhi Nagar celebrated Teacher's Day with great forvour and gaiety in the school premises. A floral tribute was paid to Dr. Radha krishnan by the Chief Guest Ms. Bhanu Mahajan, Corporator ward no 21, Gandhi Nagar , Management Committee members, Principal Neeru Puri and the teachers. Students of class 10th took on the responsibility of teaching as a gratitude to their teachers. The programme was started with the lighting of traditional lamp. A colourful bonanza of cultural programme was presented by the students on the occasion. Ms. Bhanu mahajan inspired the students by her impressive speech and encouraged them to follow the path of Dr. Radha Krishnan and A.P.G Abdul Kalam Secretary Sir and President sir also blessed the students with their valuable words and highlighted the qualities of good teachers and students. Principal Ms. Neeru Puri also emphasized on the importance of the day threw light on the role of teachers in shaping and moulding the students for the uplift of the nation. The school Management also honoured the teachers and non teaching staff, for their dedication by presenting gift and uniforms and gifts to class IV employees. |
