DDC asks to complete remaining schemes within current financial year | | | Early Times Report RAJOURI, Sept 20: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, today chaired a meeting to review the physical and financial progress of the languishing projects of the Jal Shakti; Education; Irrigation and Flood control; STD; JPDCL and Mechanical departments. The concerned officers briefed the chair about the progress made in this regard. The meeting was informed that out of 55 Jal Shakti projects, 27 projects have been completed. Similarly, 13 languishing projects of Irrigation and Flooding Control, 07 under STD, one each of PHE Mechanical and JPDCL and 10 of Education sectors have been completed. Speaking at the meeting, the DDC directed the officers to put in extra efforts to achieve the development goals with a focus on creating tangible assets. He also exhorted for mobilizing men and machinery to complete the works within the stipulated time frame, while seeking productive and fruitful utilization of the available resources. Discussing issues impeding the execution of developmental works, the DDC stressed on working in close coordination to avoid delays in the completion of projects.
