Bovines smuggling attempts foiled: Reasi Police

REASI, Sept 23: Drive against bovines smuggling in District Reasi continues, teams of District Police Reasi under Supervision of Sh Amit Gupta-JKPS laid special nakas, arrested 03 bovine smugglers and rescued 08 bovines from their possession.
Team of Police Post Talwara led by PSI Sunil Singh and Insp. Sunil Sharma SHO Reasi under Supervision of Dy.SP Headquarters Iftkhar Ahmed foiled one bovines smuggling attempt in Talwara area of District Reasi In which one smuggler Namely Shubam Verma S/O Rattan Lal R/O Kot Gahri, Tehsil and District Jammu got arrested while smuggling four bovines in a tata mobile bearing registration number JK 02 AP 0805. Accused got arrested, bovines rescued and Vehicle got Seized. In this regards case FIR No. 240/2022 U/S 188 IPC stands registered at Police Station Reasi.
In another incident Team of Police Post Talwara apprehended two more bovine smugglers namely Ajam Hussain S/O Mohd. Hussain, R/O Mawa, Teh Sunderbani, Distt Rajouri and khala Din S/O Puri Din R/O Chowki Chora, Distt Jammu and rescued 04 bovines from their possession which they were transporting in a tata mobile vehicle bearing registration number JK11F 5231.
In this regards a case FIR No. 241/2022 U/S 188 IPC stands registered at Police Station Reasi. Accused got arrested on the spot and Vehicle got Seized.
Pertinantly Reasi Police under supervision of Sh Amit Gupta SSP Reasi established zero tolerance towards Bovines Smuggling and is committed to eradicate the menace of Bovine Smuggling from the area.
