Jammu, Sept 24: Jodhamal Public School celebrated Grandparents Day with remarkable zest recently to show the love, affection and gratitude towards their elders. School had put up a wonderful show where the little ones surprised each and everybody by putting up a scintillating performance for their beloved grandparents. The programme was kick started with Ganesh Vandana, which was much appreciated by one and all. Ghoomar, Tribal Dance and Patriotic theme dance were the highlights of the show. Zumba and free style dance performances presented by the little kids stole the show, followed by a party song by our juniors. Each item was choregraphed by the teachers and the children wanted to showcase their love towards their Dadu, Dadi, Nanu and Nani. Many items such as songs and Games were put up for the enthusiastic grandparents, which were participated by one and all. The JMPians made everyone sway and enter their world of fun and frolic, thus making the Grandparents Day a huge success. The grandparents were encouraged to showcase their singing and dancing skills on the stage. The programme begin with the lightning of lamp by Chief Guest, Ms. Yasha Mudgal (IAS), Secretary Co-operative Deptt. Guest of Honour, Mr. Mudasar Farooq Ganai, Chief Judicial Magistrate and Ms. Arati Kuthiala (Director). Welcome address was given by Dr. Deep Khare (Principal). The entire administration of the school appreciated the efforts of Mrs. Neetu Johri (Coordinator), Mrs. Deepali Puri (CCA In-charge), the entire Pre- primary teachers (Ms. Dolly Chandoke, Ms. Amita Charak, Ms. Suvidha Anand, Ms. Anjali Gupta, Ms. Shreya Sharma, Ms. Priyanka Verma, Ms. Gagandeep Kour, Ms. Vinti Bhasin, Ms. Preeti Puri), Dance Department (Ms. Shruti Bakshi, Ms. Aadi Upadhayay, Ms. Shivali Rai, Ms. Arti, Mr. Deepak) and Art & Craft Department (Ms. Shweta Manga, Ms. Aman, Ms. Hemu Jaggi, Ms. Sonika Chalotra). All Grandparents went highly satisfied and were very happy to see Jodhamal imparting values among Gen Next in a fun filled plethora of activities. Coordination, Cooperation, Love, mutual respect, team spirit and like are some of the values which are instilled through these programmes involving the Grandparents by making them to participate in various Interactive games and activities was the highlight of the day.
