Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 2: After presenting rich traditional mega cultural programes on the various theme of Govt. programs and polices of Govt. of India like Digital India - 5G, Poshan Abhiyan, Swachh Bharat, Nasha Mukut Bharat Abhiyan launched by the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, under the direction of Joint Director, Central Bureau of Communication Jammu, Govt. of India Gulam Abass, today Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan celebrated 153rd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi & 119th birth anniversary of Lal Bahadur Shastri in close coordination with Sangam Tru Art Production & Natioanl Computer institute presented Musical Play "SABARMATI KA SANT " during Quarantine Time at Auditorium, Durga Bhawan Janipur, Jammu. The Program was inaugurated by the chief guest V.K. Magotra, Former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. Among the guest of Honors present were Dr. Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director, Health Department J&K Government & R.P. Amla, Assisted the Concert. The day commemorated as well with sole aim of rejuvenating the traditional, Primitive Folk, Art, Culture of J&K Region in particular and Indian nation in general awareness items. The Programe was commenced with songs "Vaishnav jan too tayne Khaiye", "Bolo jai jai kar Gandhi ji ki", "Aao aao sab jawano", "Ek bari phi sotu laye bapu fera" which was written, produced and directed by Dr. M.L. Dogra and music composed by M.C.Kotwal, Secty BLSKS & Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor BLSKS. The Chief Guest said Gandhi Jayanti is a national holiday. The concept of Swachh Bharat is to provide sanitation facilities to every family, including toilets, solid and liquid waste disposal systems, village cleanliness, and safe and adequate drinking water supply and repeated the words of PM Modi said that the Swachh Bharat mission is beyond politics, inspired by patriotism and not politics. He also asked people to pledge 'na main gandagi karoonga, na main gandagi karne doonga' (I shall not litter and won't allow anyone to do so) & chief guest lauded the efforts of the organizers in making such awareness programmes colorful and effective. In addition to the above program the artist of BLSKS also presented folk songs on "meriye jee jane" , "na main gandagi karoonga, na main gandagi karne doonga'". The song were recorded and upload on social media for general public. Earlier welcome address of Dr.M.L. Dogra, chairman, highlighted the Indians freedom struggle under the leadership of Gandhiji, but his dream of a clean India is still unfulfilled. Mahatma Gandhi said "Sanitation is very important to make healthy India". He made cleanliness and sanitation an integral part of the Gandhian way of living. Even if we inculcate certain habits like washing hands before meals, regular brushing of teeth, and bathing from a young age, we are not bothered about cleanliness of public places. Mahatma Gandhi said, "I will not let anyone walk through my mind with their dirty feet", & Dr. Dogra also added cleanliness was very close to Mahatma Gandhi's Heart. Let us reaffirm our commitment for a Swachh Bharat & fulfill our beloved Bapu's dream. A clean India will enhance our development journey & benefit the poor. Dr.Dogra also pay my deepest respects to India's second Prime Minister, Lal Bahadur Shastri ji. Today his courage and leadership will always be remembered. The singers, musician, actors and students of music and computer institute who participated in the musical concert were Chahat Chadha, Vandana Gupta, Rahul Kumar, Taniya Gupta Sapna Ahirwar, Rudar Sharma, Saras, Gopal, Nasrullah Bhat Harsh Bhagat, Ujwal Sharma, Adhiraj jwala and many others presented enthralled performances. At last of the programe Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks for successful conduction of the program. |
