Jammu, Oct 9: Rajendra Kaith Billa, a senior journalist of Jammu and Kashmir UT and a well-known face of the Batwal community from Bishnah town of Jammu won a landslide victory in the election of the President of All J&K Budh Vihar Sabha Bishnah Election to the post of President Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Welfare Association registered and Under the supervision of the administration, in which women, men, elders and youth of 18 years and above 18 years of Bishnah Batwal community participated enthusiastically and cast their votes for the candidates who came in the election for the post of President. 432 votes were cast in which Rajendra Kaith Billa got maximum 405 votes, second candidate for President’s post Karan Kumar got 23 votes and four 4 votes were rejected, Rajendra Kaith Billa gave credit to the whole community for the resounding victory in the Presidential election. He thanked the entire community, he assured the community that he would live up to their expectations and would take the whole community along and would devote his whole heart and wealth to the development of the Buddha temple. He said that the community wants development in the Buddha temple, but some people are leaving no stone unturned to defame the community for their personal health, the community has given a befitting reply to such people by participating in the elections after the elections are over. Addressing the media, Elected President of Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Welfare Association Registered Prithvi Singh Chanjotra thanked the administration for conducting the elections peacefully under his supervision, he DC Jammu, SSP Jammu, SDPO RSpura, Bishnah police station in-charge and Specially thanked the Tehsildar, he said that all his community thanks the administrative officers for conducting the election in a good atmosphere and peacefully, along with this he also thanked the Bishnah Batwal community along with Rajendra Kaith Billa, Lord Gautam. Urged to take the Buddha temple forward on the path of development, he said that some people were starting to consider themselves bigger than the community, today the community has shown their status to those people. Said that when the community comes on its own, it gives dust to the elders, he appealed to the entire community and said that all the fraternity of people who are trying to defame the community should unite and boycott their society.
