Jammu, Oct 10: Lawyers held special meeting in the Janipur Court Complex today to pay tributes to CM Gupta Senior Advocate, the former president of Jammu Bar Association who breathed his last yesterday. Large number of Lawyers gathered, remembered the services of CM Gupta for the Jammu Bar Association and the general public and observed two minutes silence for peace to the departed soul.
BS Manhas, HC Jalmeria and Shah Mohd Choudhary while paying homage to Mr Gupta said that he was practiced law in Jammu High Court, Subordinate Courts and Revenue Courts for 58 years, was a prominent lawyer and also remained president of Jammu Bar. He always stood firm during the struggles which Jammu Bar launched for the causes of lawyers and people of Jammu. He was also the founder president of LAWYERS BENEVOLENT TRUST which was constituted by prominent lawyers of Jammu. His death has caused a great loss to the lawyers community.
