| Mayor inspects PHE Sub Division | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 11: With an aim to minimize the sufferings of the general public regarding Jal Shakti Department and to ensure proper water supply position and leakage in the Shakti Nagar area, Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor JMC alongwith Surinder Choudhary Councillor of ward no. 29 today inspected PHE Sub Division near A.G Office, Shakti Nagar Jammu & took stock of the water supply position and leakage from this station of Shakti Nagar & its adjoining areas.
S. Harcharan Singh Executive Engineer (Mech.), Vijay Kumar Gupta, Executive Engineer, Sanjeev Kumar Gupta Assistant Executive Engineer, Anil Dev Singh Assistant Executive Engineer, Harpal Singh Assistant Engineer of PHE, Bodh Raj Gandotra Junior Engineer, Suraj Kumar Junior Engineer & other supervisory staff of concerned PHE pumping station as well as Karan Sharma, Kushant Daffara & other prominent inhabitants of the locality were also accompanied by the Mayor during the tour.
He issued on spot instructions to the concerned Engineers of Jal Shakti Department to take every preventive measures by way of plugging the leakage of PHE water pipes flowing in the locality & maintain proper cleanliness in and around the pumping stations and make it sure that the field staff remain present during their allotted duty hours. He also listened to issues which the PHE staff are facing and assured that all their genuine grievances will be sort out in a time bound manner. |
