JAMMU, Oct 12: Karwa Chauth is a festival which is of immense importance whereby Ladies keep fast for the Long Life of their husbands. To celebrate the auspicious festival of Karwa Chauth, an exhinition was organized by Amar Singh Club, Jammu.
The Karwa Chauth exhibiltion was inaugurated by Anita Kapahi, wife of the Secretary of the Club Anil Kapahi along with the other executive member of the Club. Various stalls displaying top brands of clothes, shawls, jewelry, decoration pieces and makeup kits were available. Beside this there were stalls of Tarot readers, Nail Art, Bangles and mehndi for the lady members of the Club. A host of mouth watering eateries was available for all guests.
Kr Ritu Singh Chairperson FICCI FLO J & K Chapter was the Guest of Honor for the day. She highlighted the importance of prayer to start any function and recited the Gayatri Mantra with all the guests present. The Secretary of the Club Anil Kaphi thanked the team which had organised the program especially Vikram Puri for his efforts in organizing the event. Hundreds of members attended the exhibition and appreciated it. Notable among those present included Anil Kr Gupta, Dr Nandita Mehta, Vikram Gujral, Ritika Mahajan, Raman Gupta, Sanjay Sethi, G P Chahal and Dr Vikram Handa. |
