Targeted killings separatist agenda of scared militants: Raman | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 15: Expressing his shock over the killing of Kashmiri Pundit Puran Krishan in Shopian district of Kashmir by terrorists, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K Executive Member Raman Suri today said that this is sheer frustration on the part of those elements who are feeling that ground beneath their feet is slipping. Such targeted killings, he added, are their last-minute efforts to scare people, which is not going to happen anymore now. Raman Suri said, targeted killings are separatist agenda of scared militants, who are now on the run. Kashmir is changing for good but these anti-national elements who have lost their relevance and ground are now trying to target innocent and hapless people, who can't do any harm to them, merely to stay relevant. The way India had dealt with the Kashmir situation and is making a space for Kashmiri pundits in the Valley, militants are not able to digest this development. The Kashmir-based leaders will also become vocal to criticise government now but won't utter a single word against the hostile neighbour Pakistan, separatists who encourage militancy or ultras who resort to targeted killings, said Raman Suri. He added, Kashmiri pundits despite such hostilities are maintaining a brave front to defend their motherland and the entire nation is standing with them in their endeavour to settle back in their homeland Kashmir. Such killings won't demoralise them in any way. He assured that the vigilant security forces will hunt the killers down and make them meet their fate in no time as times have changed and none is going to give militants any space to remain free. In the regime of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, security forces have been given a free hand to deal with the militants and wipe them out completely. Those behind such killings have done a blunder and now will meet their end soon. |
