| Tempo traveller catches fire, passengers evacuated safely | | |

Jammu, Oct 30: A tempo travellers caught fire due to some technical glitch near Kappa Galla area on the Jammu-Poonch highway on Sunday morning
Police sources told Kashmir News Apex- (KNA) that a tempo traveller bearing registration number JK12-8584 being driven by Chaman Lal Sharma, son of Som Raj Sharma of Nowshera District Rajouri was on its way to Rajouri from Jammu when it caught fire due to some technical glitch near Kappa Galla area on Jammu-Poonch highway. The driver swiftly stopped the vehicle and facilitated evacuation of all passengers. He said fire fighters along with tenders rushed to the spot and doused the flames. No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet. Due to the incident, the traffic on the highway was disrupted for an hour. Meanwhile Police has taken cognizance in this regard. |
