JAMMU, Nov 2: One day Awareness-cum-demonstration was organized at Govt. Hr. Sec. School Ploura, Jammu, Jammu by Civil Defence, Jammu under supervision of Dy. SP Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. In the said awareness programme (150) Students of the School participated. Awareness about the basic knowledge of First Aid, CPR, Chocking, Fire fighting, and other Emergency rescue methods were given by the Civil Defence expert. During the programme demonstration on the above said topics were also presented by the Civil Defence team. The main aim of the awareness programme was to make aware the students and staff members with regard to preventive measures during natural or Manmade Disaster.
Beside others Sunita Chadda Principal of the Hr. Sec. School, Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden Civil Defence Jammu, R. Vijay Magotra Dy. Chief Warden CD Jammu, Ram Dayal Saini Sub. Inspector I/ C Training and staff member of the School were also present on the occasion. |
