Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 2: In a Public Interest Litigation filed by a NGO Golden Heartz, regarding seeking direction to state to provide sufficient infrastructure in the school for Blinds in Roop Nagar Jammu including the infrastructure of hostel facilities, boarding and lodging, extracurricular activities, study material for progression in life, specific computer together with its software. Division Bench of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court Comprising Chief Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey and Justice Vinod Chatterji Koul observed that in terms of order passed on 29.12.2018, the Additional Secretary to Government, Social Welfare Department, J&K, has filed the compliance report, copy whereof has been furnished to other side. The respondent No. 5 was not served, therefore, compliance could not be filed by the said respondent. DB grants four weeks time to Vishal Sharma, DSGI, seeks time to file compliance. DB also directed respondents 1 to 4 shall also update the status of the implementation of the schemes, for which amount has been released by the respondent No. 5, with copy in advance to the other side. —JNF |
