RAJOURI, Nov 5: District Administration Rajouri has covered 151400 families out of 154000 under the PMJAY-SEHAT scheme, which constitutes 98.31 percent of the total target. SEHAT stands for Social, Endeavour for Health, and Telemedicine, and the main aim behind the scheme is to extend health insurance coverage to all residents of Jammu and Kashmir. Intending to saturate the district under the scheme, effective measures are in place to cover the left-out families, which are mostly nomadic families, and special enrollment camps are being organized along the migratory routes for the nomads. It is pertinent to mention here that the District Administration Rajouri, under the overall supervision of the Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal, is putting in dedicated efforts and working in a mission mode to saturate the district under AB-PMJAY SEHAT, and the best possible steps are being taken in this regard. The field functionaries deployed for the task are also educating the nomads about the benefits of the scheme and motivating them to get themselves registered under it.
