Jammu, Nov 8: An awareness Camp on HIV/AIDS, Voluntary Blood Donation and Drug De-addiction were organized by Shere-Kashmir Sports Club, Jammu in Collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir AIDS Control Society, Department of Health and Medical Education at Digiana, Narwal Pain Satwari And Channi Rama Jammu.
A large number of Youth Population attended the camp from nearby areas. The resource person Nehal Gupta and Jatin Kumar stressed upon the deadly consequences of HIV/AIDS Drug addiction. The modes of Transmission of HIV virus and the means of its prevention, treatment and control were thoroughly deliberated in the camp. The other speakers stressed upon the youth to get involved in the voluntary blood Donation. |
