| 69th All India Cooperative Week Celebrations-2022 | | | Early Tims Report
RAMBAN, Nov 16: The Cooperative Department, in collaboration with Fisheries Department on Wednesday organised an awareness programme to mark 69th Cooperative Week Celebration here at district headquarters Ramban.
Assistant Director Fisheries, Assistant Registrar Cooperative Societies Block Ramban & Gool, Senior Auditor Ramban, officials of both the departments as well as members of proposed FFPO (Fisheries Farmer Producer Organisations) participated in the event. The participants were enlightened about the government schemes by the officers of both departments in order to promote self reliance & provide self employment opportunities to people, especially fishermen.
During the course of the event, Assistant Registrar Cooperative Societies briefed the participants about different schemes of the cooperative department, particularly focusing on registration of FPOs under cooperative and its benefits.
The AD fisheries also spoke at length about the perspective of cold water fisheries of Ramban district.
The participants were jubilant and were enthusiastic to avail the benefits of different Government schemes & on-spot documentation requisite for registration of FFPO was done.
Event ended with a Vote Of thanks presented by Assistant Registrar Cooperative Societies Block Gool. |
