Kashmiri cab driver returns bag containing golden ornaments to tourist | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Dec 6: A young Kashmiri cab driver who found a bag containing golden ornaments worth lakhs at the resort of Pahalgam in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir returned to the tourist from Hyderabad on Tuesday. Akash Farooq Wani, a cab driver found a bag forgotten by a passenger from Hyderabad, who was on a trip to the tourist resort of Pahalgam on Monday. The bag contained golden ornaments worth Rs 10 lakh and returned it the tourist safely today. The tourist had informed the taxi stand about the bag containing golden ornaments which he had kept in the vehicle and forgot to pick it up. Later the driver searched his vehicle found the bag and returned to the tourist . The tourist had moved to the Srinagar Airport for boarding a flight to Hyderabad had to return to Srinagar to collect his gold containing bag. Meanwhile, the tourist had expressed his gratitude to the driver for returning the gold containing bag and rendering an example of honesty. |
