RAJOURI, Dec 7: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, visited Government Medical College in late hours to inquire about the condition of the persons injured in a bus accident at Mandir Gala of tehsil Kotranka. Dr. Mehmood Bajar, Medical Superintendent Dsitrict Hospital and other officers also accompanied the DC during the visit. The Station House Officer Kandi informed that an Eco vehicle bearing number JK 11D 4443 turned turtle near Mandir Gala resulting in injuries to passengers. “Total 9 passengers were travelling in the ill fated vehicle,” he added. Medical Superintendent GMC Rajouri said that out of total nine patients referred to GMC Rajouri, one was declared dead on arrival, one has been referred to GMC Jammu, and seven are undergoing treatment and are out of danger. Interacting with the injured, the Deputy Commissioner asked about their well being and instructed the medical team to provide best possible treatment for their early recovery. Furthermore, he promised that the district administration would provide all necessary assistance to the injured and the families of the deceased during these difficult times. |
