ADC Bhadarwah listens to issues of media persons

BHADARWAH, Dec 8: Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah Choudhary Dilmir today convened an interactive meeting with local media persons here at meeting Hall Dak Bunglow Bhadarwah.
The meeting was attended by the ASP Bhadarwah Aftab Alam besides media persons representing different print, electronic and social media organisations. The media persons highlighted different issues being faced by the fraternity and general public of the Sub Division Bhadarwah.
Thorough discussions were held to maintain better coordination between the administration and media agencies to facilitate dissemination of factual information through the media.
Suggestions were also sought from the media persons for addressing the problems being faced by them in connection with the dissemination of developmental activities being carried out in Bhadarwah.
The ADC, while speaking on the occasion, said that media plays an important role in getting public feedback and enables the administration to implement the government welfare schemes and other activities on the lines of public aspirations for inclusive development. He thanked all the media persons and extended his best wishes to them.
ASP Bhadarwah said that the real essence of democracy can be realised only with a healthy journalism. He ensured that the police would create a congenial atmosphere for journalists to perform their duty.
