Four days workshop on Heartfulness Concluded at SKUAST

Jammu, Dec 12: Workshop on Heartfulness concluded today at Baba Jitto Auditorium of SKUAST-Jammu. The valedictory function was inaugurated by Prof. J.P. Sharma, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu by lightening of lamp. Prof. J.P. Sharma, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu during his address spoke about importance of Heartfulness workshop for students for holistic development of their personalities. He expressed gratitude to Heartfulness Education Trust Telangana for initiative to organize workshop at SKUAST-JAMMU. Prof. Sharma in his address lauded the efforts of Dr. Rakesh Nanda, Director Education and NSS, SKUAST-Jammu to host first of its kid workshop for students. He called upon students to acquire positive attitude and sense of unity. He also appreciated the efforts of all teachers involve in organizing this workshop.
Dr. Rajpal Mangotra from Heartfulness Education Trust made aware about the programmes of their organization for students and encouraged more participants for such type of workshops. He appreciated the positive and interactive approach of students of SKUAST-Jammu and said that a cordial environment was found here in SKUAST-Jammu. He informed the audience that Heartfulness Agro Summit for Youth will also be conducted during in 12th-14th January, 2023 to mark the National Youth Day in Kanashantivaram. Earlier Dr. S. K. Gupta, Registrar, SKUAST-Jammu welcomed dignitaries and all the guests. Dr. Manmohan Sharma, Professor, School of Biotechnology briefed the audience about the programme. The participants who attended the workshop gave their feedback about the programme. Certificates were also distributed to the participants. The programme was attended by statutory officers, head of the divisions, faculty members, non-teaching staff and students of the university. HET Team includes Mr. Sourab, Col D.S. Jamwal, Dr Jadial ad Ajay Sehgal.
At the end, formal vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Subhash Kashyap, NSS, Coordinator.
