| J&K UT Level Baseball Championship 2022-23 inaugurated | | |  early times report
jammu, Dec 16: The J&K UT Level Baseball Championship for Boys/Girls, Men/Women 2022-23 in various categories under the banner of Amateur Baseball Federation of India (ABFI) under My Youth My Pride initiative of J&K Sports Council was inaugurated at Gindun Sports Stadium Rajbagh Srinagar on 16-12-2022 by Mr. Sujit Kumar (IPS), DIG Central Kashmir as Chief Guest and Mr. Raju Sharma President J&K Baseball Association, Mtr. Nuzhat Ara Divisional Sports Officer Kashmir, J&K Sports Council, Mr. Farooq Ahmad, General Secretary J&K Baseball Association were the Guest of Honours on the inaugural function. More than 260 athletes which includes Boys and Girls, Men and Women of 3 districts of Jammu Division and 10 districts of Kashmir Division, J&K are participating in the J& K UT level Baseball championship 2022-2023.
In the inaugural function all the district representatives of Baseball Associations were also present. The Chief Guest in his marvelous speech encouraged the participants and organizers in organizing this grand sports event during the severe cold in the lovely sports Stadium at Gindun Sports Stadium Rajbagh Srinagar.
The J&K Sports Council is doing a tremendous job for promoting different sporting events across the different horizons of the Union Territory of J&K especially the Baseball game. The newly formed J&K Baseball Association under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Raju Sharma President J&K Baseball Association and Mr. Farooq Ahmad General Secretary J&K Baseball Association is doing wonders in establishing and promoting the Baseball from The grass roots. The concluding function of the J&K UT Level Baseball championship 2022-2023 shall be concluded on 17-12-2022 |
