DODA, Dec 16: In continuation to the anti-encroachment drive, Revenue department Doda, under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner, Vishesh Paul Mahajan, today removed encroachment here along the Doda -Ghat Road.
The anti encroachment drive was carried out under the supervision of Tehsildar, Shabir Ahmed Malik. The enforcement team was led by Naib Tehsildar and other revenue Officials along with a team of police. The team demolished illegal structures and cleared the footpath. The people were asked to restrain from trespassing and voluntarily lift encroachments to avoid legal action. The team said that the drive will continue till all illegal encroachments are removed.
Meanwhile, similar drives were conducted in other areas of the district to discourage the encroachments on state land. |
