| Lok Adalat settles 554 cases | | |

RAJOURI, Dec 17: General Lok Adalat pertaining to all types of cases was held today here at District Court Complex Rajouri under the Chairmanship of Kalpana Revo (Principal District & Sessions Judge, Rajouri). Two benches were constituted to hear the cases. The Bench number one was headed by Kalpana Revo (Principal District & Sessions Judge, Rajouri) assisted by Manjeet Rai (Chief Judicial Magistrate, Rajouri), while Bench number 2 was headed by Mehmood Ahmad Chowdhary (Addl District and Sessions Judge, Rajouri) and assisted by Mahjabeen Akhter (District Mobile Magistrate(T) Rajouri). Similar benches were also constituted at the Tehsil Levels which were headed by the Presiding Officers of the respective Courts. A total 613 cases both Pre-Litigation and Post-Litigation were taken up out of which 554 were disposed of. |
