Govt hitting last nail in terrorists', sympathisers' coffins: Raman Suri
12/19/2022 10:26:07 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 19: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K Executive Member Raman Suri today said that the seizure and demolition of properties of terrorists and their sympathisers in Jammu and Kashmir is government's last nail in the coffin of ultras, who are soon going to become extinct. They have had enough of run and since no other government was ever this serious in nailing them as the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha's administration, these people were having heyday but their time is up now, he added.
Raman Suri said, earlier governments never made any concrete efforts and merely rendered a lip service to end terrorism and restore peace in Jammu and Kashmir. After the abrogation of Article 370, the government gave a free hand to security agencies to deal with the terrorists and flush them out. Also, since the sympathisers and protectors of terrorists are now out of power, they are finding it difficult to sustain. This is the reason that Jammu and Kashmir has started witnessing peace.
He further said that earlier, some rotten politicians were working hand in gloves with terrorists, Pakistan or their mentors. Today, since their entire structure stands demolished by Narendra Modi Government at the Centre, these terrorists are either are on the run or are being eliminated. He said, strange were the ways of all previous governments in whose regimes these terrorists could secure citizenship documents and even build houses or find jobs in the government organisations.
Gone are those dark days, and the way LG administration has now tightened its noose around these terrorists or their white-collared sympathisers, they are going to see their end pretty soon. This is why stone pelters have vanished, subversive activities have decreased, infiltration is almost negligible and encounters are leading to the end of terrorists, who are finding it hard to survive.
Raman Suri said, today national highways are connecting Jammu and Kashmir to the rest of Indian cities, massive infrastructure development is making it easy for the soldiers to get food and required ammunition well in time, and business activities besides confidence of youth in the system has increased manifold due to which everyone is getting drawn towards starting new businesses or taking benefits of government schemes to build a bright and prosperous Jammu and Kashmir in years to come.
