JKASA announces SKUAST-J unit | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 19: Jammu and Kashmir Agricultural Students Association (JKASA) today announced its unit under the leadership of its President Divyansh Verma along with other members of the association Akshay Deep, Gagan Lakhanpal and Asif Ali, in Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology Jammu (SKUAST-J).The unit comprised of Rahul Sharma as President SKUAST-Jammu unit (JKASA) along with Arjun Singh and Arif Choudhary as Vice President, Abhinash Attri as General Secretary, Prajwal Kotwal as Treasurer, Chirag Grewal as Joint Secretary and Sujal Sharma/ Gourav Prasher as Media Secretary. The association also nominated 45 students Madhav, Hardik, Bilal, Mir Arif, Sohail, Sajid, Sakshi, Vishakha, Aakriti, Ruchika, Amandeep as executives / volunteer members of the comprised unit. Further Divyansh Verma briefed the students about the current issues pertaining to jobs in Agricultural Production Department and how SROs 442 (2017) and 433 (2007) choked the entries of agricultural graduates for entry level as well as gazetted posts in Agricultural Production Department of erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir. Since 2007 no posts has been advertised by JKPSC despite of various vacant position lying in the department. In addition to this the criteria for entry level post has been changed via SRO 442 which was duly formed to benefit already recruited segment of the department. The newly formed unit is fully committed to work for the welfare of the student fraternity in SKUAST-Jammu. |
