Samba police recovers kidnapped minor girl fropm Pune

JAMMU, Dec 21: District Police Samba today under the overall supervision of SSP Samba, Dr. Abhishek Mahajan, IPS recovered a minor kidnapped girl from Pune, Maharashtra in a kidnapping case registered at at P/S Bari Brahmana.
On 17.11.2022, a written report was lodged at P/S Bari Brahmana by one person, a resident of R/O Rajouri A/P Ward No.06 Bari Brahmana that on 16.11.2022 his minor daughter went to school but did not return to home.
All efforts were made out by the family members but the whereabouts of the missing girl could not be ascertained.
Acting on the complaint, a missing report was registered at PS Bari-Brahmana and search was started to trace out the said minor girl. During the course of preliminary investigation, it came to known that said minor girl has been kidnapped by an unknown person. On this, a case FIR No. 213/2022 U/S 363 IPC got registered at PS Bari-Brahmana and investigation started to trace out the said kidnapped minor girl.
With continuous strenous efforts, a Police team of PS Bari Brahmana led by SHO PS Bari-Brahmana, Inspr. Sunil Kumar Sharma under the supervision of Mohd Usman, DySP Hqrs Samba (Addl. charge of SDPO Bari-Brahmana) recovered the said minor girl from Pune, Maharashtra. Both the kidnapped girl and kidnapper were safely brought to Police Station Bari Brahmana.
The kidnapper namely Mahendra Nishad S/o Itwari Nishad R/o Bilaspuir, Chhattisgarh was arrested.
After completing all legal formalities, the said recovered minor girl was handed over to her parents. The family members expressed their gratitude toward District Police Samba in reuniting missing girl with the family.
Further investigation is in process.
