JAMMU, Dec 22: 5 day Civil Defence basic training was started by the Civil Defence, Jammu at Allah Arnia, Jammu under the supervision of Dy.SP Anita Pawar, Deputy Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. The said training will be given by the CD Experts on the knowledge of First Aid & Fire Fighting, Snake bite, Choking, basic life saving technique and preventive measures during the natural/ manmade disaster and road accidents. 122 students of different Schools are going to attend the basic training programme.
During the inaugural ceremony, the Deputy Controller Civil Defence, Jammu delivered a valuable lecture on the setup of the Civil Defence and highlighted the need and role of Civil Defence organization in the society. She urged the participants to join the Civil Defence to serve the society. During the occasion Sh. Paramjit Kumar Chief Warden Civil Defence, Jammu also delivered a lecture on the role of Civil Defence wardens in the organization.
