Rajouri attack reflects security lapse, utter failure of Central Govt: Shagotra

SRINAGAR, Jan 2: Stating that Rajouri militant attack reflects utter failure of Central Govt. on Security front, Senior Congress Leader Pranav Shagotra termed the innocent killings shameful and unacceptable.
Shagotra also expressed shock over the killing of Child in a blast near yesterday's attack site while condemning the innocent killings in strongest words.
Strongly condemning the killing of four persons in a militant attack and killing of child due to blast near attack site in Rajouri, Senior Congress Leader expressed deep shock and anguish over the innocent killings, termed the attack as mindless and shameful, urging the Govt. to identify the militants for exemplary punishment. Killings in any form are highly condemnable and unacceptable in a civilized society, Shagotra added and termed the attack a big failure of both Central and State Govt. on security front, who have miserably failed to ensure security of common people despite their assurances and tall claims.
He also termed the blast near attack site a security lapse which has cost another precious life of child.
Senior Congress leader slammed Central Govt for failing to ensure peaceful atmosphere whilst the situation has turned from bad to worse, which cannot be denied given the frequent militant attack on civilians and security forces, he rued.
Shagotra emphasized the Govt to take effective measures to put an end to bloodshed and ensure safety of common people. He also demanded adequate compensation to next of the kin of slain persons.
Pranav Shagotra accompanied by party leaders Th.Hoshiar Sigh, Anoop Gupta, Anil Kumar and Vishal Dhar visited injured persons in Hospital and enquired about their condition while praying for their speedy recovery and courage to those who lost their dear ones in a shameful and cowardice militant attack.
