NYK, GCW Parade conduct Elocution competition to select speakers for parliament event | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 7: Nehru Yuva Kendra Jammu, in collaboration with Government College for Women Parade Ground and its NSS unit on Saturday organised a district level Elocution/Speech competition related to selection of speaker for parliament event being held at Delhi on 23rd January 2023 to pay homage to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Harneet Singh, Assistant Commandant, Prof Sushma Chib, HOD Mathematics and Dr Gurpreet Kaur, NSS Program Officer acted as judges. Simran Sharma was declared as winner at district level out of 15 participants. The Theme for the competition was "Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose- Life and Legacy in the age of Amrit Kaal." Those who got first rank in District level contest will be selected for the UT level competition. The winner of the state level competitions will participate in the National level contest. As many as 27 speakers representing states and UTs will get the chance to interact with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. |
