| ACB books JE, others for misappropriation of funds | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 10: Anticorruption Bureau has registered a case against Junior Engineer for misappropriation of funds. According to the ACB a verification was conducted by this bureau to look into the allegations of the execution of different link roads under PMGSY Scheme in league with some officers and officials of Ove Revenue, Horticulture as well as PMGSY Department Kishtwar who has drawn illegal /fraudulent bills in the form of compensation which was not due to beneficiaries. Some persons have drawn compensation of structures and fruit bearing trees which have not come into che the alignment of K.K Road there by caused loss in crores to the Government exchequer etc.(2) During the course of verification, it came to fore that the following structures were paid compensation illegally.
