JAMMU, Jan 30: State General Secretary BSP Ravinder Singh (Papu) joined National Conference in presence of the party President Dr Farooq Abdullah the otherday at Bathindi, Jammu. Welcoming Ravinder Singh into the party fold, Dr Farooq Abdullah described National Conference as a mass movement that has all along stood for the just cause of the people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh and strived for development and progress of the state with a sense of commitment. Dr Abdullah hoped that with the joining of Ravinder Singh the party will be further strengthened at the grass roots level. “A strong National Conference is a key to steer Jammu and Kashmir to peace, progress and development besides meeting the challenges confronted to the state”, he added. Ravinder Singh pledged to carry forward the mission of National Conference in transforming Jammu and Kashmir into a peaceful and progressive state with devotion and dedication. The Joining prograamme was organized by Naresh Bittu District President Jammu Rural B. Those who joined the party fold include: Balbir Singh, Gurmeet Singh Chahal, Rampal Block President BSP, Narinder Singh, Harbans Singh, Varinder Kumar, Rajinder Singh, Manjeet Singh, Gagandeep Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Gurucharan Singh, Pardeep Singh, Narinder Singh Nitu, Pawandeep Singh, Narinder Singh (Bittu), Darvinder Singh (Pepsi), Surinder Singh, Kulwant Singh Johal, Vijay Kumar, Gurubaksh Singh, Ujjagar Singh, Gurucharan Singh (Raju), Baljeet Singh and Gabbar Singh. Besides Provincial President Mr Rattan Lal Gupta, those present on the occasion included: Ajaz Jan Provincial President YNC Jammu Province, Jatinder Bhagat, Jatinder Choudhary Block President Suchetgarh, Dev Raj Block President R.S Pura and others. The National Conference leaders profusely garlanded the new entrants and greeted them on joining the party. |
