DC Reasi holds weekly Block Diwas at TRC Ransoo Block Pouni

REASI, Feb 1: Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, Babila Rakwal on Wednesday visited Ransoo , Shiv Khori Base Camp , in Block Pouni and listened to public issues of and provided on spot redressal to genuine grievances of the residents of the area .
During weekly block diwas, PRIs and general public of the area put forth their issues regarding unscheduled Electricity Cuts, excessive electricity bills, need of Solar light at TRC, upgradation of Allya Primary School to High School, boundary wall around school, completion of Dehout Bridge, ID Cards of Pony wala, Repairing of Pole Lights, need of Sulabh Complex in main market Ransoo, need of Handpumps, requirement of staff in Education Deptt, blacktopping at Taxi stand, update of BPL cards.
DDC Pouni Kewal Krishan demanded provision of X-Ray Machine in local health institution, construction of water tank in the area and installation of Smart Power Meters in every house besides, upgradation of Suganpur Primary School to High School and Permission for Circus show during Maha Shivratri Mela 2023.
PRIs as well as the general public also hailed the efforts of district administration for awareness camps of inheritance mutation.
DDC Chairperson focused on empowerment of three tier structure and it's role in development of the said area and stressed on PRIs to work in tandem with district administration in resolving the public grievances.
Further DDC Pouni Kewal Krishan presented the charter of works done by various departments in developing panchayats on modern lines.
DC Reasi while addressing the various issues laid focus on proper implementation of Central Sponsored Schemes and UT Capex budget works for larger benefits of the general public so that it can reach to end users in a more transparent and efficient manner.
In order to prevent accidents, DC stressed upon following proper technical guidelines & step laid for the purpose keeping in view the Gradients of the relief feature , while constructing Roads under all schemes in hilly areas and directed 50 percent participation of panchayat public in special Gram Sabha for verification of FRC Cases, Recovery process will be initiated against defaulters of PMAY-G and strict action under norms will be taken against defaulters .
After the conclusion of Block Diwas, Babila Rakwal distributed 02 Power Tillers under PMDP Scheme to first beneficiary namely Yashpal S/o Amarnath with a cost of Rs.104000, with Subsidy of Rs.52000 and another beneficiary namely SurajParkash S/O. Gian Chand R/O Reyala Jagir with a cost of power Tiller Rs.72000 with a Subsidy Rs.36000.
Besides these, block diwas was attended by ACD Anirudh Rai, CMO,CHO Brij Vallabh, AD Tourism Ambika Bali, CAHO, CAO, LMO, Tehsildar, BDO Pouni,other district and sectoral officers.
