BJP Jammu district South holds day-long Working Committee Meet | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 5: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu District South led by its President Rekha Mahajan held its first Working Committee Meeting at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. It was commenced with the traditional lightening of the lamp by Senior BJP stalwart leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta, BJP District President Jammu South Rekha Mahajan, State Secretary, and Prabhari Jammu South Ayodhya Gupta including senior leaders, state working committee members, District General Secretaries Akash Chopra and Pushpinder Charak comprising district office bearers, Mandal Presidents and Morcha Presidents. BJP holds these Office Bearers’ and working committee meetings of the party at regular intervals to have a detailed review of its ongoing development & political policies, implementation of public welfare schemes, formulation of important strategies and to discuss the forthcoming party programs. The meeting saw threadbare discussions on various issues related to issues. Rekha Mahajan launched her presidential address for the Jammu district south working committee and welcome all the participants and presented an account of organizational and developmental works undertaken by the BJP Jammu district south at various levels, especially in the previous months with special reference to the party related programs. Kavinder Gupta addressed the meeting and shared his valuable life experiences and organizational skills with party activists. Although India marches on converting challenges into opportunities under a dynamic leader, a responsive government, and a vibrant society. He said Modi had given a new direction to the country’s democracy with his far-sighted policies, dedication, and the spirit of team India, and people’s welfare and the country’s interest were reflected in every decision of the government. Ayodhya Gupta, while addressing the office bearers, asserted that the nation has witnessed an accelerated pace of development and advancement under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also stressed the need for time management and proper liaison for smooth and efficient working of District Jammu South. Former MLC Vikram Randhawa tabled a resolution, mentioning various welfare issues related to benefit of Budget 2023-2024 for J&K, acceleration of the work of Smart City Projects, development works in Jammu, etc and Former MLA & DDC Prof Gharu Ram Bhagat and Sr. Charanjit Singh Khalsa strengthen the submission of Randhawa. Deputy Mayor Baldev Billowria also spoke about various welfare schemes of the Modi Government. Brig Anil Gupta spoke on the historical budget and hailed the union budget as a historic step for the development of the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. State Vice President Aseem Gupta stressed on joining of new entrants which will strengthen the BJP in the J&K. State treasurer Prem Gupta discuss in length and spoke on an upcoming program of Samarpan diwas. Moreover, Prof PL Koul shares his views about Modiji’s successful journey of the Swachh Bharat Mission. District Vice President Shallu Gupta communicated condolences and reimbursed tribute to them. Narendra Koki submitted a report on PM’s Mann ki Baat program and Pooja Chauhan also share her thoughts related to the importance of social media. All Mandals and Morcha Presidents presented reports on organizational and political activities in their respective Mandals. Finally, on the Presidential note, Rekha Mahajan addressed and encouraged party karyekartas. She also stressed the need for time management and proper liaison for smooth and efficient working of the Jammu district south. She also spoke on organizational matters and the need of strengthening the party fabric at the booth level. Akash Chopra conducted the proceedings of the meeting.
