Mayor asks students to concentrate on studies, take proper care of health | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 7: Carrying forward Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mission of skill development, Jammu Mayor, Rajinder Sharma on Tuesday asked the students to develop skills also along with academics. The Mayor was speaking at the annual day function of New Era Environmental High School. He also said that every child is born genius. "We all have strengths and weaknesses but success comes when we work on our strengths," the Mayor maintained adding: "Parents should identify the strengths of their kids and help their children to make them successful in their life." Earlier, Jammu Mayor, Rajinder Sharma was welcomed by Administrator of the School, Maitree Jain. Sharma also stressed upon the students to concentrate on their studies whole heartedly and also take proper care of their health so that future of the nation may remain with healthy and wise persons. He asked the teachers to bring out the hidden talent from the children and guide them proper and work hard to inculcate cultural values in them for which India is known across the world. The function concluded with prize distribution by the chief guest Jammu Mayor, Rajinder Sharma to the students of the School who have excelled in their studies, sports and cultural programmes organized on different occasions. Teachers of the school were also felicitated. |
