| Kindergarten building construction starte at Bhour | | |

Jammu, Feb 7: Today,Prof Singh started the construction of KINDERGARTEN BUILDING at Govt. Girls High School Bhour, Gadigarh. "This is one of Turn Key Project in School Education Department in the UT OF J&K, as it will usher sea changes in the enrollment of Govt Schools at the very entry stage of education of pupils if program is taken seriously by beurocrartic level in consonance with political will. Further strengthening it with facilities required for KINDERGARTEN may prove as a game changer in School Education Department", Said Prof. (Dr) Youdhvir Singh while laying foundation of the building. He appreciated Chief Education Officer Planning Section's decision in favour of Multi-storied construction of this building as futuristic approach.
The construction of KINDERGARTEN building will cost 63 lac rupees and to begin with it will be single story with provisions for two more levels as and when required.
On this occassion, various School Management Committee Members were also invited. The prominent among those present were S. Balbir Singh, President Gurudwara Singh Sabha Bhour-1, S. Inder Singh, treasurer, Chamman Lal Sharma contractor, S. Rasbir Singh, Head Master of School Ms Santosh Sharma along with other Staff members. Head master Ms Sharma welcomed all Committee Members for spareing their time to grace the occassion and also thanked for their support.
S. Balbir Singh and S. Inder Singh Members of School Management Committee, however, raised a important question regarding not Commencing construction of already declared unsafe class rooms in School inspite of fund allocation and made a strong appeal to the authorities of School Education Department to reallocate the funds in forthcoming Financial year so that construction of said unsafe Class Rooms takes place. |
