Jammu, Feb 19: The Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust (Regd.) a Non-Governmental Organisation working for the Tribals of J&K for the last Three decades has organised a “Free Mega Medical Camp” at Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust, Gujjar Colony, Jammu here today, in collaboration with SMVD Narayana Superspeciality Hospital Katra. The medical camp was inaugurated by Sh. Ramesh Kumar IAS Divisional Commissioner Jammu as Chief Guest. The Docotors from various faculities participated in the camp and provided free medical consultation and medicines to the patients/people from various walks of life who came in large number from different areas in the camp. Besides above, Sehat/Golden Cards under Ayushmman Bharat Scheme were also generated. The Chief Guest, the Guest of Honour, Doctors, Paramadics staff, Trustees and members of Youthwing of Trust were welcomed by Shah Mohd Chowdhary Advocate, Chairman of the Trust in the presence of Patron-in Chief Haji Abdul Hamid. The Chief Guest in his inaugural address lauded the role of Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust, Particularly Dr. Masud A Choudhary Former Vice Chancellor and Patron-in-Chief in promoting the education among tribals and preserving their culture etc. The Chief Guest appreciated the arrangements of medical camp and thanks all doctors, technicians and other paramedics staff for making medical camp a great success. Mr. M.S. Chouhan General Secretary, Shoukat Javed, Mohd Yousaf Khepar, Mr. Saleem, Mohd Bashir Ahmed Noon, Rafiq Kohli, Mohd Amin were also present on the occasion. The doctors who provided free consultation to the patients are Dr. Rajpal Singh (Oncolgist), Dr. Nitee Gupta (Optho), Dr. Mohd Shamim (Chest Specialist), Dr. Najma Akhtar (PSM), Narayana Hospital Katra Staff, Lab Technicians and many others. |
